Matcha & rice milk porridge
This super green porridge has major health benefits and it's the perfect way to energize your day! Matcha tea is loaded with powerful antioxidants and essential nutrients like vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc and magnesium along with chlorophyll which will make your skin glow and support your immune system. It also helps to boost metabolism, aid detoxification and to improve concentration and brain power. Along with the beneficial fiber contained in oats it contributes to lower cholesterol and balance blood sugar. Rice milk is a great dairy free alternative and naturally sweet which means there's no need for added artificial sweeteners.
- 1 cup Rice milk
- 1 tbsp Raw seeds and nuts mix
- 50 g Multi grain and Seed Porridge
- 1 tsp Matcha green tea powder
- Place the porridge in a microwave safe bowl and cover with the rice milk.
- Add the matcha powder and stir to combine.
- Microwave for 2 minutes.
- When ready to serve, top with the raw nuts and seeds mix and an additional sprinkle of matcha.
- Can sweeten it with a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup, if desired. Although the rice milk is already sweet as it is. Enjoy!
