Raw Cacao & Medicinal Mushrooms Smoothie bowl
When it's cold and grey outside there is no better way to start the day or have an afternoon pick me up with some raw cacao and pretty rose buds! Super cacao by aduna, a bit of avocado and banana to make it creamy, mesquite to give a hint of caramel, baobab and a pinch of reishi & chaga mushroom powder to support my immune system against this cold weather! Medicinal mushrooms are extremely powerful so a little bit goes a long way...they enhance and stimulate the activity of the immune system and have potent antiviral capacity along with blood pressure and cholesterol lowering properties. They also have a protective action towards the liver and can be used as a tonic for fatigued adrenals and as an aid against mild anxiety and depressive states. So amazing that something as simple as mushrooms has so much plant power in them!
- 1 cup Coconut water
- 1/2 medium Banana, frozen
- 1/2 small Avocado
- 1 tsp Chaga and reishi mushrooms powder
- 2 tbsp Super cacao
- 1 tsp Baobab powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla powder
- 1 tbsp Mesquite powder
- Place the coconut water in a blender or food processor and add the rest of the ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and decorate as you wish. Berries and shredded coconut work really well. Enjoy!
