Fluffy and smooth coconut protein perfect to refuel post workout made with silky coconut yogurt mixed with vanilla pea protein, banana, cinnamon, lucuma topped with delicious sweet and crunchy coconut chips and a sprinkle of turmeric powder.
I love coconut! It's a great alternative to nuts in raw cakes and treats and it gives smoothies a beautiful creaminess without being too heavy.
Plus it brings along great nutritional benefits like anti inflammatory & antibacterial properties, fibre and healthy fats like lauric acid that is able to help managing cholesterol and blood glucose levels.
The addition of probitics in the yogurt turns coconut into something even more beneficial as they're a great aid for balancing gut flora and supporting immunity.
And a scoop of protein powder gives this white creamy bowl of goodness a boost of amino acids that our body can use to promote muscle repair and growth and keep steady blood sugar levels and energy.
Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor except the sliced banana and coconut chips.
Blend until fluffy and completely smooth.
