2-minute Buckwheat Porridge
With a night before pre-soak, this buckwheat porridge is ready in just 2 minutes - an oatmeal alternative, that topped just right will make your doughnut-glaze besmeared coworkers chartreuse with envy.
- 1/3 c buckwheat
- 2/3 c water
- Soak buckwheat in two parts water, one part buckwheat in a jar in the fridge overnight.
- In the morning, zap in the microwave for 2 min 30 seconds.
- Be warned- like oatmeal, it will bubble over on you if you aren’t watching.
- Top with your favorite mix-ins. Pear, cocoa nib, cardamom, and yogurt are lovely.
