Porridge has been a staple breakfast for many of us. It is easy to make, fills you up until lunch time and is just great for those mornings of the winter months. So this is Beetroot porridge with apple sauce. Simply fantastic.

Cooking Stages

  • Method
    • Combine mik and rolled oats over a medium heat until the desired consistency is reached making sure to stir regularly to avoid any burning or sticking

    • Add in the finely diced apples and stir until combined evenly

    • Remove from heat and add the scoop of beetroot powder and stir until colour is even distributed

    • Drizzle over apple sauce and serve

  • Notes:
    • You may wish to add more milk or drizzle over some cold milk before serving for presentation
