Green Avocado Smoothie
My Green Avocado Smoothie is like a meal on the go. The addition of avocado packs it with fibre and makes it super thick and luxurious! There are some days when I am so busy and on the go that a smoothie is the best way to make sure I don’t miss out on essential nutrients. This is almost like a salad in a cup – but don’t be put off by that description – it is super tasty too! If you are tight on time then put all the dry ingredients in your container the night before then simply blast with the liquid in the morning. Using ice, frozen banana and frozen spinach will help keep it cooler for longer.
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp Flax Seed
- 2 big handfuls of raw spinach (or 2-3 lumps of frozen)
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tsp spirulina
- 1 serving unflavoured protein powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Turn that blender on and devour!
