Orange Flavored Porridge
I decided to create a new Porridge and boom! I love orang-y flavours so this is just perfect!
- 1/2-1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 orange
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 200-400 ml water or plantbased milk
- toppings of your choice
- Start off by soaking the oats overnight for more creaminess. Make sure they are fully covered in water (or anything else you want to use).
- In the morning, rinse the oats and place them in a cooking pot. Add the water or the milk and the spices. Cook until the liquid is fully absorbed.
- Then cut away one slice of the orange (for topping) and press out the juice of the rest, add it to the porridge and stir until creamy. Pour into a bowl, top with whatever you want, dig in and enjoy!
