Rough, raw and lactose free. This is a really quick and gorgeous recipe I was taught by an old family friend who lives in Italy. There is no yogurt or crème fraîche added, so it's suitable for those with a lactose intolerance.
- 2 avocados
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- 1/2 gramm salt
- 1 tsp Worcester sauce
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Start by removing the skin and stones from the avocados, then very roughly chop them and put them in a bowl.
- Then, roughly chop the tomatoes and add that to the avocado
- Finely chop the red onion and add that along with the juice of half a lemon, the Worcester sauce, olive oil and salt to the avocado and tomato
- Then serve! It works really well as a dip for raw veggies, or in pittas, on toast, salads or even just on its own!
