The importance of vitamin resupply
I thought I would write a little article about the importance of vitamin resupply in the season of flu (winter). I find that prevention of illness is much easier than curing an actual illness, whether it's flu or something more serious.
So when I can feel a cold or flu coming down on me, my best recipe to kick the *ss of the illness if I get a good cup of herbal tea, a bowl of vegetable soup and eat a plateful of fruit rich in vitamin C.
... and it works every time. People really do underestimate the power of nature.
So if you are keen on trying a new, chemical free way of preventing- or even curing illness, try these easy recipes and quick ideas.
I made this fruit and vegetable smoothie and I had bowl of fruit and a cup of herbal tea throughout the day. I include some picture and the recipe of the smoothie as well :)
- 1 bigger piece of broccoli
- 1 bigger peace of curly kale
- 1 apple
- 1 passion fruit
- 1 clementine
- Aloe Forever Ultra Vanilla shake supplement
Just mix all ingredients, add a bit of water and whizz it up. Enjoy as a quick meal or on the go! :)
