SUMAC KOHLRABI FRIES
Eaten with a salad and a curry ketchup. These Kohlrabi fries is healthy and is low in carbohydrates. A perfect alternative for the Potato fries.
- 2 pound kohlrabi
- 1 tbsp chickpea flour
- Salt & pepper
- 4 tbsp canola oil
- Cut kohlrabi into 1/3 inch sticks and about 2 inches high.
- Heat oil over medium-high heat in a heavy skillet. In large bowl, combine flour and salt. Toss kohlrabi sticks in flour to lightly coat.
- Once oil is hot, add kohlrabi sticks to pan in batches. Cook on each side until browned, 2-3 minutes per side. Once cooked on all sides, move to paper towels and sprinkle with RawSpiceBar's Sumac and salt, to taste. Serve and enjoy!
